Who is Mina Marie Mirkhah?

Thanks for stopping in! My name as you can see above is Mina Marie Mirkhah. I recently moved from Phoenix, AZ to the big apple because I am going to make a name for myself.

Since I was a wee little one I have always been passionate about the arts. I would respectfully, but forcefully have my parents watch while my sister and I would put on spontaneous improv skits. We would acquire and use any props around us as we saw fit and any costumes we had or that our parents had to indulge in the imagination and spark the visual effects.

As I grew up from being a tot my love and utter most respect for performing only deepened.

My mother, bless her soul, was such an amazing supporter. She would let me go on the auditions that I chose and be involved in all the school drama activites. I still remember like it was yesterday my first play, Cinderella, and I played Gus Gus.

I was very fortunate between junior high and high school because I was involved in several major motion pictures, commercials and print ads.

When high school came around I knew that I HAD to be involved in Drama. Drama and photography were my sole electives every year. I was involved in almost every play that took place during my high school years; popular ones being Our Town, MacBett (Eugene Ionisco's version), Cyrano de Bergerac, MidSummer Night's Dream, etc. I was also actively involved with stage production such as assisting in building the sets as well as assisting in costuming and cosmetics.

I took a hiatus from acting full time and focused on getting my degree. I received my bachelors in Liberal Arts and Sciences in Biology with a minor in Pre-medicine (Totally NOT in the art field, but I enjoyed science-what can I say?).

As a recent graduate I couldn't scratch the itch I had and I could no longer resist what I know I was born to do; perform.

So, I come to the Big Apple to show you what I've got. I love cinema, television, commercials, theatre and print modeling.

Hope to see you around!

Thank you.
